CLARITY

The clarity of the diamond consists in the classification of the size and number of impurities present within the stone (known as inclusions).

Impurities affect the brilliance and reflections of the diamond, therefore the higher the level of inclusion, the lower its degree of brilliance.

Below is a table, established by the GIA (Gemological Institute of America), which specifies the alphanumeric order based on the level of inclusion of the diamond.
